What people usually ask.
What does an AI medical scribe do?
It listens to the conversation between you and the patient and drafts the clinical note in your template, with suggested diagnosis codes, referrals and sick-leave certificates. You review, edit and approve before anything goes into the record.
Where are the audio and text stored – and for how long?
Storage and AI processing take place in Swedish data centres, and all processing stays within the EU. Audio, transcripts and documents are deleted automatically according to the clinic's policy, for example one hour after export, and you get a deletion receipt for every session.
Does the patient need to consent?
Yes. The clinician confirms the patient's consent before recording starts, and it is recorded on the session.
Does it work with our electronic health record?
With Cambio COSMIC, the Nordnote desktop app fills in the fields for you. For other systems, download the note as PDF or Word, or copy and paste it.
Is Nordnote a medical device?
Nordnote documents what was said and gives no diagnoses or treatment advice. Diagnosis codes are suggestions you confirm one by one. We are happy to share our MDR assessment – contact us.
Is the AI trained on our consultations?
No. Your content is only used to write your note and is then deleted. It is never used for training or analytics.
Do we need to install anything?
No, Nordnote runs in the browser. The desktop app for Windows and macOS is only needed if you want the note filled straight into Cambio COSMIC.
What does it cost to try?
Nothing. The trial lasts 30 days, nothing is charged during it and you cancel with one click.
Which languages does it support?
